From step 2/3 of the planned roadmap, CEM4 is ready to be updated to the new 2023 Machinery Regulation which will take place when it is published.
Dear Customers, up to date with the software update, will receive the update step 3/3 Machinery Regulation 2023 in the months of June/July at no additional cost.
The roadmap for updating CEM4 to the Machinery Regulation has been divided into 3 Steps, through proposed automatic software updates.

Reasons to upgrade to CEM4 May 2023 Update
The latest release of CEM4 removes the old "legacy" risk assessments for the new "method" risk assessments in order to prepare for the Machinery Regulation 2023. The update setup must be installed manually by the user.
Before installing
Before installing the setup for CEM4 May 2023 Update here attached:
- Be sure that you already have the version May 2022 Update or newer installed (attached);
- Be sure to have followed the procedure written for March 2023 Update;
- Make a backup of the database.
Installation
Download and uncompress the attached zip, then start the setup. The software will ask to convert the database: during this procedure, the compatibile "legacy" risk assessments will be automatically converted into "method" risk assessments.
