Directive 2014/34/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 february 2014 on the harmonisation of the laws of the member states relating to equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (recast)

Article 43 - Repeal
Directive 94/9/EC, as amended by the Regulations listed in Annex XI, Part A, is repealed with effect from 20 April 2016, without prejudice to the obligations of the Member States relating to the time limits for transposition into national law and the dates of application of the Directive set out in Annex XI, Part B. References to the repealed Directive shall be construed as references to this Directive and shall be read in accordance with the correlation table in Annex XII.
Article 44 - Entry into force and application
This Directive shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. Points 1 and 3 to 7 of Article 2, Article 4 and Annexes I, II, XI and XII shall apply from 20 April 2016.
