Guide to application of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
Edition 2.1 - July 2017
(Update of 2nd Edition)
The Guide updated Edition 2.1 is intended to be a living document, edited and updated with new guidance once approved by the Machinery Working Group. It will be made available in other EU languages, but only the English version will be checked by the Commission. Therefore, in case of doubt, the English version should be taken as the reference.
The Guide can be downloaded and is presented in a printable format. The text of the Directive is presented in boxed red italic type - the comments follow in black type.
The Guide has been prepared with the help of an Editorial Group and this Update of the 2nd Edition has been carried out by an external consultant and the Commission, assisted by some of the members of the Editorial Group. The Commission4 wishes to warmly thank the members of the Editorial Group both for the huge amount of work they have carried out as well as for the efficient, constructive and cooperative spirit in which the drafts have been prepared. In parallel to the work of the Editorial Group, a Machinery Core Group established by Orgalime, including representatives of the main sectors of machinery manufacturing, has provided invaluable input from the industry. The drafts prepared by the Editorial Group have been submitted to the Member States and stakeholders for comments. The Commission would also like to thank all those who have made comments. We have tried to take them into account as far as possible.

Update norme 9.0 Luglio 2017

Con l’aggiornamento Update normativo, è possibile aggiornare il Database di CEM4 con richiamo dei dati delle norme utilizzate nella gestione della Valutazione dei Rischi relative ad ogni RESS in “Presunzione di Conformità”.
Eventuali modifiche alle norme riportate nei documenti interessati, sia dovute a personalizzazioni Utente o precedenti l’importazione del file Update norme CEM, saranno "congelate" alle norme preesistenti.
Importando il file Update norme CEM, saranno aggiornate le norme di riferimento (titoli ed eventuale descrizione) sottostanti ad ogni RESS.
Novità in questa Revisione 9.0 Luglio 2016, che tiene conto della Comunicazione delle Norme armonizzate Direttiva macchine del 9 Giugno 2017 (Com. 2017/C 183/02):

1. Direttiva macchine
Direttiva 2006/42/CE del Consiglio, del 17 maggio 2006, relativa alle macchine e che modifica la direttiva 95/16/CE (rifusione).
Il settore delle macchine costituisce una parte importante del settore della meccanica ed è uno dei pilastri industriali dell'economia comunitaria. La direttiva ha il duplice obiettivo di armonizzare i Requisiti Essenziali di Sicurezza e Salute (RESS) applicabili alle macchine sulla base di un livello elevato di tutela della salute e della sicurezza, garantendo la libera circolazione delle macchine all'interno del mercato UE.
2. Norme tecniche armonizzate
Questa versione dell'ebook è arricchita dall'elenco delle norme tecniche armonizzate per la Direttiva macchine riportate nella Comunicazione della Commissione del 09 Giugno 2017 n. 2017/C 183/02.
